Common questions

How Fast We Get to You

How fast can you get here?

We aim for same-day attendance wherever we can manage it. Exactly how quickly depends on what else is on the board that day, but a real person answers immediately and gets things moving.

Do you work weekends and public holidays?

Yes, our on-call cover doesn't change for weekends or public holidays. Whatever day it lands on, a real person picks up, not a voicemail promising a callback on Monday.

How do I book?

Ring (02) 9140 0185 and describe what's going on, or send a callback request through our contact page. Either way, we're aiming to get a plumber moving the same day.

What counts as a plumbing emergency?

Water actively spreading, no working toilet, no hot water in a household that needs it, or any smell of gas. A slow drip or a small blockage generally holds fine until a scheduled visit.

Common questions

Pricing, Quotes and the $65 Off

What does the $65 off your first service cover?

It's a straight discount applied automatically when you book with us for the first time, no code needed. It applies across our full range of plumbing work, not just select jobs.

Does the price change once you start?

No. We price it after a proper look at the job, and that price holds regardless of how the work itself unfolds once we're in it.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. Turning up and quoting costs $0, and that stands regardless of whether you decide to proceed.

Why isn't the lowest price your main focus?

Because the lowest quote often means corners cut somewhere else, on parts, on the fix, or on the guarantee behind it. We'd rather quote honestly and back the work for life.

Common questions

Working In and Around Pymble

How local are you, really?

Pymble is our home turf, and the streets around Avon Road and Telegraph Road are ones our team drives regularly, not occasionally. It's a genuine part of our everyday run.

Do you handle strata and units in Pymble?

Regularly, including the newer blocks near the station. On a strata job we start by working out, with the building manager, exactly which line is causing the trouble before pricing anything.

Do you cover the suburbs next to Pymble?

Yes, our regular run includes Gordon, St Ives, Turramurra, Killara and Lindfield, all covered by the same licensed team and the same fixed pricing.

Why do Pymble's older homes get plumbing emergencies?

A large amount of the housing here dates to the Federation era, built before anyone was thinking about ageing pipe joints or tree roots decades down the line. That original stock is now well past its working life. Streets near Pymble Soldiers' Memorial Park on Mona Vale Road and Avondale Golf Club on Avon Road carry plenty of this original vintage. The ridge also runs cooler than most of Sydney, and that extra strain on an old hot water unit is often the final straw.

Common questions

Who's Responsible for What

What happens if you find a bigger problem once you start?

We stop, explain what we've found, and requote before going any further. You decide whether to proceed, and nothing extra gets added to the bill without your say-so first.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Lic #465156C is current and covers every plumber on our team, and full insurance sits behind every job, checkable any time at verify.licence.nsw.gov.au.

Can I fix a plumbing emergency myself?

For anything past turning off the water at the meter or getting clear of a gas smell, we'd rather you didn't. Plumbing and gas work in NSW legally needs a licensed tradesperson.

Are your plumbers qualified to work on gas?

Yes. Gas fitting sits alongside plumbing on every licence our team carries, which is exactly the qualification a suspected leak actually needs.
